Hello Kindred Spirit,

I hope you're doing well. Here are some things I wanted to share with you:

1. Creativity & Joy: You might enjoy Where to view Leonardo Da Vinci's Notebooks Online for Free or The Happy Black Woman Blog

2. If you don't know where you end & someone else begins, you might just be a woman. Our self-doubt or questioning ourselves again & again is not ONLY because we're sensitive.

3. "Sometimes, the most beautiful experience with a flower is brief."

4. Music: I finally finished the 10-part Ken Burn's Jazz series. Art Blakey's thought that "Jazz washes away the dust of everyday life" definitely applies to the UTTERLY BEAUTIFUL Take Five & a modern take on it by Sachal Studios & Wynton Marsalis. Marsalis is the first Jazz musician to win a Pulitzer prize for music.

5. Here is a Great List of Therapists Knowledgeable about Sensitivity if you're feeling the blues & need help.

6. Podcast: It was a pleasure to hear this AMAZING interview with Oliver Burkeman, the author of a great new book on "time-management for mortals."

7. Something Fun: Check out these Online Spirit Animal Readings on Dr. Steven Farmer's site.

8. For me, tarot is not a predictive tool. It sparks intuition, and the most potent images come from inside us, such as this Black Jaguar. Symbols in our dreams don't just mean one thing. Paris in your dream might be very different from the Paris in someone else's dream.

9. Something Serious: Over the last year, I have heard multiple times about sensitive kids being misdiagnosed as having ADHD. On a separate note, if you DO know someone with ADHD, Dr Gabor Mate's book Scattered Minds makes the compelling case that ADHD is not genetically based, but linked to childhood trauma.

10. Upcoming Workshop: If you're in the U.S. & up for traveling, you might enjoy this Retreat for Highly Sensitive People in Colorado in End-September with the lovely Jacquelyn Strickland.

That's all from me this time. I hope you find joy & delight even as things change around us.

With love,

Ritu
