Ta-Da! The Next Book Club Pick is the book “Sensitive.”

Ta-Da! Our next book club selection for The Highly Sensitive Creative Book Club is the book Sensitive: The Hidden Power of the Highly Sensitive Person in a Loud, Fast, Too-Much World by Jenn Granneman & Andre Solo.

If you’re looking to understand your sensitivity in a deeper way, you will find this book really insightful! It combines the latest research on sensitivity with personal, vulnerable storytelling.

We will go at a gentle pace as we read “Sensitive.”

We will meet on Zoom on the following dates from 5 pm to 6:30 pm Pacific Time. All Zoom meetings will be recorded and shared afterwards, so in case you can’t make it live on some date, you won’t miss out.

January 30: Introduction & Chapters 1-3 

February 27: Chapters 4-6

March 26: Chapters 7-9 

Exploring and learning from each other & seeing how our experiences with sensitivity are reflected back can be deeply healing. I hope you join us in this deepening of the understanding of our sensitivity!

WHO IS THE FACILITATOR FOR THIS BOOK CLUB?

If you are new to this site, Hi! My name is Ritu, and I will be facilitating this circle. Like you, I am someone who has grappled with both the gifts and challenges of being highly sensitive. As a little kid, for example, I was called “shy” for years before I unpeeled that label.

I think connecting in a community of like-minded people can help us find precious parts of our own self. When we see that others share the same struggles or think deeply about similar things, the “otherness” we can feel as sensitives starts developing cracks.
