Hello kindred spirits and fellow sensitive souls. I wanted to tell you about an online Zoom event I am doing on August 14, 2020.
If you are a highly sensitive person looking for more tools for your journey and are based in the United States, you might really enjoy it!
This talk will have new information and will be different from my previous talk at East West Bookshop, in case you attended that and were wondering.
I have been doing research for my next book for highly sensitive people and I will be talking about new insights about grounding, defining our energetic boundaries, and more.
Please visit East West Bookshop to buy a ticket. If you love independent bookstores, this purchase will also help support one very special one!
More Details Below.
In this event for highly sensitive people, I will be talking about:
- Grounding and the two different ways to ground.
- Why visualizing a bubble around us doesn’t work at times.
- The difference between psychological and energetic boundaries.
- Why you might feel other people’s feelings jumping out at you at certain times and be totally unaffected at other times.
- How to work with your dreams to tune into your intuition.
The last talk I did at East West Bookshop in January was an amazing experience. When a big group of highly sensitive people get together, the energy is different in a visceral way. It’s nourishing and calming and validating.
It’s also great for me to be back at an East West Bookshop event, even if online. East West Bookshop is one of my favorite places here in the San Francisco Bay Area. It’s also the largest metaphysical bookshop in the United States and its events always have wonderful energy.
A silver lining in these stay-at-home times is that East West Bookshop has shifted its bookshop events online, and that means that people from anywhere in the United States can participate.
Please visit East West Bookshop to buy a ticket and note that the time mentioned is United States Pacific Time. After you register, East West will send you a Zoom link for the talk on the day of the event, so on August 14. So, please keep a lookout for that.
If you love independent bookstores, this purchase will also help support one very special one!
I hope to see you there! Much love, Ritu.
P.S. Do check out East West Bookshop’s other online events. They also have an extra special one with Deepak Chopra coming up in September.
Ritu Kaushal is the author of the memoir The Empath’s Journey. Set during the first few years after she emigrated from India to the United States, it connects personal stories from her own life as a highly sensitive person with practical tools to help sensitive people channel their gifts.
Ritu is the recipient of the Silver Medal at the prestigious Rex Awards, co-presented by the United Nations in India and given to people creating social impact through their work.
