I wanted to do a quick post to share a giveaway for Amanda Linehan’s YA book Uncover. Amanda is a fellow INFP, highly sensitive person and kindred spirit.
Uncover is a psychological thriller and is available for free the entire month of October! I would highly recommend checking it out. Amanda’s work is full of interesting characters and relatable interpersonal dynamics.

Whenever I have read Amanda’s books, such as North, I have been struck by the people who populate them. Just like her other books, Uncover also has an interesting protagonist. It revolves around Marissa, a teenage girl who is still processing her grief over the loss of a friend.
This is how the story goes:
After her best friend has been killed in a car accident, Marissa wants to put it all behind her. But her death has left more questions than answers. When another friend mentions a lost object that could bring some closure, Marissa reluctantly agrees to help search for it but then finds herself trapped in the dark, making all the wrong moves.
Can she find her way out of the darkness?
We’ve all been in some kind of darkness around grief, whether it’s grief over the loss of a loved one or grief about a part of us that has been lost forever. I think this is a very relatable story not just for Young Adults but for anyone searching for closure.
As an aside, if you are an INFP writer, you might also want to get the book to see how a fellow INFP author creates stories. INFP writers are known for their insight into character and we often write character-driven tales. So, if you are a writer, Uncover might also be an interesting book to learn from!
